Class and level

Anything on this page is subject to change throughout the development progress of the game. We will thoroughly test and validate any feature before it goes live.

A Mercenary NFT has 2 key elements:

  1. Class

  2. Level

A Mercenary's class is indicated by its banner situated near the upper-middle of the NFT.

The border indicates the tier of the class; in the above example, the Berserker class is in Tier 4. Tier 4 means that the max level of the Mercenary is 12, and it can be fused with other Tier 4 Mercenaries, such as an Assassin or Master of Elements, to create a Tier 5 Mercenary, such as a Dragon Knight. The result of two fused Mercenaries will always be a new Mercenary in the next tier and up 1 level.

A Mercenary's level determines its overall power level, which will affect eligibility, success %, and earning rates, depending on the quest. Mercenaries can level up by completing quests, or by spending $GAV. Each class has an associated level cap; once that cap is reached, the Mercenary is "maxed"; in order to obtain a higher level Mercenary, the user must acquire one at the marketplace or fuse their Mercenary with another Mercenary of the same level.

Classes will continue to expand over time; at launch, available classes will include:
